That’s how I feel about the season finale
Sure there were a few things I fangirled over…Amon and his backstory, Asami vs Hiroshi, Iroh II badassery, Bumi (all 4 seconds of his screentime), Korra Airbending… and of course Aang
But the plot holes…the Makorra…took the hype away from me at the end
I get that there was only supposed to be one season but it was just so...

is cause there was so much potential and talent behind this series. it started off so well. i thought they were going to really explore the sociopolitical issues of benders vs. non-benders, like the way the original show dealt with war, genocide, etc. but as the show went on, it just never…

oh god, and don’t get me started on makorra. seriously don’t.
i’ll say this, for me amon and the lieutenant had a more compelling and emotionally resonant relationship in the finale than makorra did. seriously. i cared more about how the lieutenant felt when he was betrayed by his idol than when mako and korra were flouncing around the SWT in melodrama.
